EDUARD GUREVICH

Eduard was born in 1969 in Ukraine. In 1992, he immigrated to Canada and settled in Toronto with his family. He received a Degree in Arts from Lvov University in Ukraine and an Illustrator Diploma from Sheridan College, (Canada). Eduard Gurevich paintings are an investigation into the representation of landscaped and natural environments. By exploring the concept of landscape in a nostalgic way, he makes work that deals with the documentation of nature in a vibrant and seemingly fictional state. The painting style is highly stylized and shows a great deal of craftsmanship in the rendition of color, movement and linework.

His artist reputation is well established amongst collectors around the world. His work has been featured at Galerie NuEdge since2015. He lives and works in Toronto.
